One page nav plus blog page menu issues

Hi There

I’m having some issues with my blog menu which is different from my one page menu.

I believe I’ve set everything up correctly. I have my one page with one page navigation active and my blog page having it deactivated.

The One Page menu is working great but the other is showing the url as https://domain.com/home/blog/#section1 when it should read https://domain.com/home/#section1

How do I remove the extra /blog/ from the url.

Thanks in advance
Chris

Hello Chris,

Thanks for writing in!

Since you are using a custom header, instead of adding the relative url #speaker as your menu link, you will need to insert the absolute url instead like http://example.com/#speaker.

We would loved to know if this has work for you. Thank you.

Thanks for getting back to me, very appreciated. What it seems is happening is the blog page is using the same menu as my one page navigation even though it is not set up that way.
I have two menus, one called nav. that is set up for the one page navigation. It’s working perfectly. The other menu, blog 2 is set as the primary menu. The blog page has one page navigation disabled but it’s not taking the primary menu. It seems to be defaulting back to the nav menu. Not sure what is going on, it’s very strange.
Thanks for your help in advance.

Hello Chris,

Thanks for writing in again!

I can see the Blog header and The home header having the same menu.

I changed the menu to blog 2 now it works fine.

Please check and let us know if that is what you are looking for.

Thanks

Thank you so much. I was not aware that it was the header that I needed to change the menu on, but I do now.
You guys rock and I love x pro
