One page bg image for all blog posts

Hi there :slight_smile: Is there a way to have the same page background image show for all blog posts without having to put it in manually for each post?

This worked for me
.blog, .single-post {
background-image: url(“http://192.185.174.84/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/Black-white-blonde-cuff-1500.jpg”) !important;
}

however…
is there a way of making it Parallax for each individual post, as my image is not tall enough and keeps repeating. Was also wondering if there is a way to hide the larger image at the top of each post.

Hi there,

The parallax functionality is implemented through javascript, CSS isn’t enough. But, with CSS, you can apply fixed background, like this

.blog, .single-post {
    background-image: url(http://192.185.174.84/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/Black-white-blonde-cuff-1500.jpg) !important;
    background-attachment: fixed;
    background-size: cover;
}

It has a similar effect, except it doesn’t move upon the scroll.

Thanks!

Thank you so much. I tried hiding the featured image on individual blog posts but it doesn’t like me. Any chance you can help?

Managed to hide it, but there is a huge space now

.entry-thumb {
visibility: hidden;
}

Got it
.entry-thumb {
display:none; }

Hi There,

To hide the featured image on the single post only, please try with this CSS instead:

.single-post .entry-featured {
display: none;
}

Your custom CSS will hide the featured image on the blog page also.
