Onclick Open Accordion with Jump/Anchor Link

Hello,
At the top of the page I have 3 anchor/jump links, each linking to a Classic Accordion element on the page.
These links are all working fine.

However, what I really would like to achieve, when the user clicks on one of the links at the top of the page, then the accordion opens automatically for that specific section.
I did read a ticket posted October 17, but I am not good with JavaScript and onclick event handling.

Thanks for writing in! Regretfully this isn’t a feature offered by X. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. We won’t be able to provide a JS code because the kind of feature requires to have the code customized according to your site’s setup and will have a chance to break if you make some changes. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities.
