There are currently 26 Extensions available for installation with my version(s) of X-Pro. Once installed and activated, are there any on-going costs? Many of these extensions, if purchased separately, have an annual cost. If installed through X-Pro, what happens after the initial 12 month term?

The bundled plugins do not need to be registered. It should work along with the Pro theme (or X theme) without purchasing a separate license. As long as those plugins are bundled in the theme, all the updates will be provided by Themeco. You only need to purchase a separate plugin license if you want to use the exclusive functions and features of the plugin.
