Off Canvas Menu / Element not showing on iPhone 7 Plus

On our site we are using an off canvas element for a menu. The main button is visible on all break points.

The problem we are having is that on the iPhone 7 Plus and one or two other older iPhones the button does not display. (Also iPhone 6 Plus although iPhone 6 works).

We’ve had complaints from clients and I have also confirmed this in Browser Stack.

I checked on the iPhone 7 plus it seems that it is working fine. I would suggest you please clear your browser cache and then check it again. Please have a look at the given screenshot in the secure note.

The difficulty I am having is that our client has had several clients complain that they can’t checkout. These clients have been on the iPhone 6 & 7 Plus.

The screenshots they send us do not have the “SHOP” or “Add to Cart” buttons.

In my tests on Browser Stack this was confirmed.

We can’t very well tell people to clear their cache and our client is losing sales because the people can’t checkout.

We only used Browser Stack because of the complaints and I’m pretty sure the browser cache isn’t going to impact Browser Stack?

Hey @urchindesign,

This is not caused by cache but a rendering issue with older iOS versions which WordPress no longer supports.

There’s still a solution though and that’s to specify a Height for all Toggles. Use the PX or EM unit and not the % unit. Don’t use auto also if old iOS versions are important to you. Just note again that older iOS versions are no longer supported by WordPress and we follow what WordPress supports only.
