Odd squares replaces menu arrows in menu

I get odd squares after the menu instead of the down arrows.
This happened after I changed the url adress from the Ip adress to the permanent correct DNS pointed url.
How can I get the correct arrows back after the menu words?
I also get no preview and only this message when I try to make adjustments in the x-theme:

Non-existent changeset UUID.

I’ve added this code to the .htaccess file and the icons are working fine now:

<IfModule mod_headers.c>
    Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin "*"
</IfModule>

Thank you for the solution. I have other sites with the same problem. I am not able to find any files named .htacces in ftp on those?

That file is under /public_html/.htaccess.
