"Object not found!" upon trying to access elements & inspector tabs (404 error)

When creating or editing a page, if I click either the “elements” tab or the “inspector” tab, I received the following error:

Object not found!

The requested URL was not found on this server. The link on the referring page seems to be wrong or outdated. Please inform the author of that page about the error.

If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster.

Fresh copy of xthemes, v 6.3.8. Wordpress v 4.9.8.

To add, the elements actually load for a brief second before this error page appears
