"Nothing To Show Right Now" on home page issue & No Content Found

Hey. You guys have been an awesome help in the past.

I’m trying to create a basic static homepage.

But underneath my header it has a section; “Nothing To Show Right Now: It appears whatever…”. How can i get rid of that?

Also, when I go to add content in the PRO editor, it says “No Content Found” and there is no option to add any content blcoks etc. How can I fix that?

For reference, I am using the PRO theme and my site is http://tomchanter.blog

Thanks for helping

Hi Tom,

Thank you for writing in, If you need a static Homepage that can be edited in Cornerstone/Content Builder you need to set a Home page and Blog index page first.

To do that, please create 2 pages named Home and Blog, then navigate to Settings > Reading

Select A static page option, in the drop-down select the Home for Homepage: option, and the Blog for Posts page: option, then save.

Now you’ll have the Home page as your static homepage that can be edited in the Pro’s Content Builder, and the Blog page as the Posts index page (not editable).

Hope it helps,
Cheers!

Perfect. Thanks for the quick solution

We are delighted to assist you with this.

Cheers!

There’s still an empty box in the content section that I can’t get rid of. Is it possible to only have the header load on the page?

Essentially there’s no text below the header now – but still an empty box.

Hi Tom,

You can get rid of that container box wrapper by using any of the Blank - No Container page template.

Probably you want the Blank - No Container | Header, Footer page template.

Hope it helps,
Cheers!

Such a legend. Perfect. Much appreciated.

Glad to hear that, cheers!
