Not sure why I cant find shop page demo/template

I currently have my website up and running… i want to add a new page so we can sell our products but i dont see the option to add a shop page via template or demo page. How can I add this page?

Thanks for writing in!

  1. To setup Shop page, you first need eCommerce plugin. For this you can take a look at WooCommerce and the same can be installed from Pro > Validation > Approved Plugins.
  2. After that under Pages > All Pages create a page that you want to be Shop page.
  3. Under WooCommerce > Settings click on Products tab and under Shop page select the page that you created in previous step.

Yes, I have already done that but in cornerstone I dont see any template or demos to put in. I activated woocommerce and created the page.

Hello Sasan,

Thanks for clarifying. The products are not included with the theme demo content.

However, those are available in the Woocommerce sample CSV file which will import sample products on your site.

You may download the CSV file then import it to your site.

got it! but what about the layout and design. will i use cornerstone for that? or how does demo work?

Here is test site i made http://test.browsbynaomi.com/shop/ it shows product but cart is missing on top and layout is much different then demo.

Please take a look at the solution shared in following thread. Having said that please note you can only edit the product description with the builder and not the entire layout of single product page.

Shopping Cart on Navbar can be activated from Pro > Theme Options > WooCommerce > Navbar Menu.

Thank you for the info. I applied everything and it worked. I just have some issues. One when I set up the inner/outer for the cart and price the layout does not look good on my demo. I want to line it up on the right of the menu bar stacked but instead it is positioned center below my menu bar. I also noticed that my images are very small when displayed on my shopping page. And also not sure why my recent blog posts are showing up on the page. I took a screen show for you to take a look compared to your demo site.

Hello Sasan,

Your menu looks different from the demo menu area because you have the UberMenu active on the site which overrides the default X theme menu. If you are not using the features of UberMenu, you can deactivate it and use the default X theme menu.

I could see that you now switched to the Integrity demo and now it looks different from the screenshot you posted. The layout that you were seeing is specific to the Icon stack.

so how would i switch demo without it causing issues to my website? and also why are the recent blog posts showing up on the page?

Hello Sasan,

Just switch between the stacks in Pro > Theme Options > Stack. In your browser, login to your WP admin. In another tab, open your shop page then in the admin bar, find the Pro > Theme Options.

(I used X here because I do not have WooCommerce installed in my Pro testing server)

This will load the Pro > Theme Options while displaying the shop page in the preview area. Every time you switch between stacks, the preview will reload and allow you to see how the shop page will look like using that stack.

By the way, the recent posts displays on the page which were part of the sidebar. To eliminate this, pelase go to Pro > Theme Options > WooCommerce > Shop > Shop Layout and select “Fullwidth”.
