Not sure who to contact but

I received this message from a WP install on a client site that I didn’t originally create and have zero control over hosting (that is changing really soon)

I’ve never seen something like this but since the site has been taken over and had all the plugins deactivated and another site from the same client has had the primary theme and plugin directors emptied.

Only constant is the host but when I contacted the hosting company (MediaTemple) they assure me that nothing on the WP or server side is compromised.

I simply don’t believe them but thought that you might have an idea of what the above-noted message is about. I’ve been going mental all day trying to keep both sites up and running.

Kind of an urgent issue.

Thanks

Hi @dabigcheeze,

Thanks for reaching out.
It might be an improper installation of the Pro, I would suggest you deactivate and delete the Pro and re-install the version by downloading from your Themeco account and check if that resolves your issue.
I would also suggest you check Tools > Site Health and solve all the critical issue(s) if found. If that does not help, there might be some different reasons behind your issue. I would like to suggest troubleshooting the following common issue to help us to recognize the reason.

1.Theme Related Issue
2.Plugin Conflict
3.Theme Update related issue
4.Child Theme Related issue ** if you have activated it
5.CSS/JS Customization
6.Disabling Cache

If you discover that an issue is coming from a custom code or 3rd party plugin, kindly consult with a developer or contact the plugin author. Please note that we do not provide support for custom codes and 3rd party plugins.
If none of the above helps and you are still getting the issue, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks

This is all stuff I’ve already done. I may send you access but I’ll do some more investigation myself first.

Hi @dabigcheeze,

Please let us know if you need any further help with this.

Thanks
