Not Letting Me Change Gray Bar

On the home page of this site there is a grey bar with our GA code in it. I added the GA code to the portion where it says to add.

did i something wrong?

Thanks for reaching out.

Please remove that code, adding the GA UID is enough and will automatically generate that code. You probably added it to the meta area where meta codes are supposed to be added instead of GA ( eg. <meta)

I deleted that and nothing has changed.

Hi @mpsquared,

Try going to your plugins page and deactivate and delete the Google Analytics plugin. Once deleted, go back to the X plugins then reinstall the Google Analytics plugin from there.

Once you have reinstalled, please set the plugin option again.

Let us know how it goes.

I’m using the GA plugin for X. Is there a difference?
