I switched from shortcode to HTML in the Cornerstone settings and now I get an issue in my Ahrefs tool saying that my pages are not compressed (Gzip).
Is that normal or should I do anything about it?

It seems that you have not enabled the GZIP Compression, I would suggest you please ask your hosting provider to enable it or you can check it article to enable it.
