Not being able to make text responsive

Hio, I have beet trying to make responsive a head;ine and it is not worrking.

Hi Iban,

Thanks for reaching out.

In your responsive selector setting, please change the .h1r into .h1r.x-text-headline .x-text-content-text-primary

That should do it, cheers!

Hi , thanks

Why do I have to add that long sequence? Why it is not working the way I did? It always worked that way

(I don’t understand that code)

Hi Iban,

Sorry for the confusion, the Classic Headline HTML markup is a straight forward so a simple selector .h1r works. But not on the V2 Headline element (and other V2 element), because the V2 element has multiple contents in it, like the Primary text, the subheadline and its graphic so it was structured a little bit complex than a classic element.

So what Rad did there is to target the Headline element with h1r class, then he added .x-text-content-text-primary to specifically target the primary text.

Hope this shed some lights,
Cheers!

Hi thanks!

How do I do it for v2 text instead of headline?

Not working

What do I put?

Hi,

It’s the same as the classic, just add a class to your headline.

Then add this selector in your responsive settings

Hope that helps

HI, thanks
I have that, but it is not working.

Hi Iban,

I could not find the section in the screenshot on your referenced link.

Please follow this detailed video walkthrough and setup your responsive text feature properly (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UXPhObp296c). One thing you may have missed is that you need to set the base font size of your V2 element to use EM or REM. By default, it will set to pixels which won’t work for responsive feature.

If you’re still having issues, provide us with the exact URL of your page and mention the section that you’re having the issue along with your WordPress credentials in a secure note.

Thanks!

Hi, thank you

Here is the page.

Hi Iban,

May I know which specific text of that page should have this responsive text? That’s because based on your previous screenshot, it’s a headline with sr class, but I don’t see any element from that page that has sr class nor responsive feature is implemented.

Thanks!

Sorry on “front page” are what we do

Why is he not using and it is working for him “.x-text-headline .x-text-content-text-primary” to make it responsive???
You told me I needed that.

Hello Iban,

The Youtube video is a tutorial video published for general purpose. Now in your case, you will use .x-text-headline .x-text-content-text-primary and not .h-responsive.

Anyways, tTo assist you better with this issue, would you mind providing us the url of your site with login credentials so we can take a closer look at your page responsive settings?

To do this, you can create a secure note with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password
