Not able to revoke license and use it for a new site

Hi,

I haven’t used the X theme for any of my current sites. I’m trying to use it for a new site but I’m being told that the license is already in use on another site (GrowthSimple.com, which is using Thrive Architect + Thrive Focus theme).

I’ve tried unlocking the license and then trying to re-validate it on the new site but it has the same problem.

How do I get around this? X says that the license is currently assigned to GrowthSimple.com, but I don’t even have the theme installed on it (it’s using Focus Theme), so I don’t know how to revoke it from the wordpress dashboard.

Any help?

Thanks for writing in!

I checked the licence manager page and can see that as of now URL (see secure note). I checked the website and it’s using X Theme and Cornerstone. Further with the message that you have shared regarding licence being used on other website along with the URL. Actually I am a bit confused, error message won’t give information about website URL, it will show the error message.

Moreover, the website (url in secure note) listed in licence manager is Pro Theme licence converted from X to Pro. So on a X Theme setup licence won’t work. On the website please install and activate Pro Theme and then validate the website.

Thanks for the response Prasant. I realized the mistake - I had taken the free upgrade to Pro option in the Theme.co manager. This meant that there was a new license code.

I was using my old Envato license code for X to validate when I should have been using the new Pro license code.

Changed that and now it’s validated fine.
