Not able to edit the page with pro

I am working on a client website made with pro. Work was paused for few months. Yesterday, I again uploaded the website and updated wordpress and all plugins. After that I am not able to edit any page with pro. When I press edit with pro button. It keeps on showing loading icon… Page editor doesn’t load at all. I have tried disabling all plugins but still no luck. Can you please help me resolving this issue?

Hi Amit,
Thanks for reaching out.

There might be a few different reasons for that, I would suggest you troubleshoot with a few of the common issues:

  1. PHP Memory Limit
  2. Builder Warnings
  3. CSS/JS Customization
  4. Disabling Cache

I would also request you to check our version compatibility page for the supported version of WordPress and extensions.
If none of these helps, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Admin URL
– WordPress Admin username / password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks

Tried everything, nothing works. Sharing login info.

Hi Amit,

It seems the issue may be due to the improper migration of the data and theme files. I would like to request you to delete and reinstall the updated version of the Pro and let us know if that works.
If that does not works, please copy your site to the staging server so we could troubleshoot freely without breaking your live site.
And give us access in the secure note including:

– WordPress Site URL & Admin URL
– WordPress Admin username / password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks

Thanks!
Its solved. As you said, I deleted the pro theme and child theme and re uploaded these again. And it worked. But I have not updated it to latest version yet. Not sure if this will break it. so not doing that for now.

Hi Amit,

Great that it’s solved but I strongly recommend to update your theme to the latest version.

I would also recommend you to take back-up of your website files and Database before updating and check our version compatibility page for the supported version of WordPress and extensions.

Thanks
