Not able to edit in X Theme functions

Hello

Our website is working but no matter what browser we use when we click on cornerstone, Templates, Global Blocks or Design cloud to edit we get a square with a continuously spinning circle. We suspect someone installed Elementor and then removed the plugin so not sure if this has had an effect?

Hello I disabled SGOptimise, which is Site grounds Caching and optimisation plug in and it worked. I assume a setting inside the plugin is incompatible? Can we troubleshoot further?
