NoFollow code in Theme .php

Hi

I’m getting a Google error showing that my sitemap https://www.commissionit.co.uk/sitemap.html actually has nofollow code in it.

I’ve problem solved everything and last post on this help thread suggests its set by the .php file in the theme?

“OK I found the problem – my theme.
There is <meta name=”robots” content=”noindex, nofollow”> in header.php
I delete it and update theme again, the problem solved! Thank you”

Is this the case and how do i get to the right .php file to have a look and edit?

Thanks

Hello Amin,

X and Pro doesn’t have that line on the header file. Please note that theme’s have different codes.

I also checked the pages of your site and the nofollow for the rel value are just added to the social media links on the site.

Please try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Hope this helps.
