No social cards on Construction page

Hello.I have Yoast installed and I edited the title tag and meta of my construction page, but for some reason this generic wordpress meta still shows up on Social. Do you have any idea how to fix this while we build our site?

Hi there,

It seems to be picking up the information from the homepage set on your site. Have you tried setting the under construction page enabled then create a page and change the meta information of the page’s Yoast settings and set it as the site’s homepage in Settings > Reading?

I had done all of that except change my homepage in settings. Just did that. Hoping that fixes it, thanks!

Hi @mtbboxx,

Another thing, please navigate to Theme Options > Social and make sure the Open Graph setting is turn Off so it does not conflict with Yoast.

And social media caching is kind of persistent, before you test to share the site please debug it first to make sure it gets the updated data of your page.
