When I create a blog post using Cornerstone, there will be no excerpt (unless I use the manual excerpt function) on the Blog Index page. But when using the manual excerpt function, no Read More link appears.
How can I fix this?

This is a known bug and will be fixed soon.
For the mean time, please add your read more link together with your Manual Excerpt
eg.
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Qui autem de summo bono dissentit de tota philosophiae ratione dissentit.
<a href="http://yoursite.com/hello-world/" class="more-link">Read More</a>
Change http://yoursite.com/hello-world/ with the url of your post.
