No place to add image description in Cornerstone

Hi guys,

Something that has been frustrating me is the fact that you can no longer add image captions in Cornerstone. Will this ever be added back? Adding the description in Dashboard > Media > Library is an incredibly long way around this problem.

Thanks for reaching out.

It’s been like since version one, image element has no connection to the description and text from the media library. It’s beend added as feature request to our issue tracker. I wonder what image you’re using that adds alt and description from media library? Perhaps it’s an extension? If yes, I recommend contacting the plugin author of the extension.

Or for now, use text element and insert standard image from media library through that.
