No- permission to access update core and plugins on wp-admin dashboard

Hey guys, hope you are doing great. Need your help with a couple of websites, will create two different topics.

I will send you details in a secure note. But when accessing the wp admin dashboard if you hover WP Admin > Dashboard you cannot access the tab update. same if you try direct link wp-admin/update-core.php

Same for install plugins…I have read and tried a few solutions with no success…any one experienced this or a have a good idea how to solve it? Thanks!

I saw similar cases and the solution was re-installing the Wordpress core, some are due to role permission too. Perhaps the hosting disable the automatic update too?

Based on the site, it could be permission too as there is no way to edit the theme or install plugin. For that, I recommend logging in with a main admin account first and check it.
