NO particle if no submenu

Hey, I have a design that uses particles for top links on an inline menu. I’m hoping that there is some way I can not trigger the particles for menu choices with no dropdowns.

Thanks for reaching out.
There is no option for the particles to work only for the menus with the dropdown. It works equally for all the Top Links.
