No icons available - font awsome issues

Hello,
Ive tried to add some icon on a page but when I put Icon element and clic okn it to pick one, there is no more list of many icon types but it only saying "“you currently have all Font awsome families disabled.To utlilize the icon picker again, you need to enable at least one icon group.”
I did disabled nothing so can you tell me whats wrong and how can I enable it? Thank you very much.

Hi Tereza,

Thank you for writing in, please navigate to X > Theme Options > Miscellaneous and turn On all the Font Awesome variants that you need.

Hey Tereza,

The option to disable Font Awesome was added in Pro 3.1.0, X 7.1.0, Cornerstone 4.1.0. Please check if everything is up to date according to our version compatibility list at https://theme.co/docs/version-compatibility. Please follow the best practices when updating your theme and plugins. See https://theme.co/docs/how-to-update for more details.

If the issue persists, please give us WordPress Login details in a Secure Note and we’ll check what else is causing the issue.

Hello again,
Ive made all actualizations I can - now we have X on 7.1.2, WP on 5.3.2 and Cornerstone on 4.1.2 version.
When I put Icon element on web I have now whole list of Icons - so this issue is fixed (thanks for your help about that).

But we obviously still have some other icon issue:
When I try to put Font awsome code on web It looks on prewiew like this:
instead of icon.

And another issue I found here (where is cros there should be clock icon)

I will send you login in secure note and would be really glad If you checked It. Thanks.

Hello @nezzazvoni,

I have logged in and it turns out that you are only having a caching issue. Since you have installed a caching plugin WP Fastest Cache, please clear your plugin cache before testing your site. This can cause the changes to not take place on the front end. It will eventually show up when the cache regenerates, but it’s not ideal if you’re looking to see your changes immediately. Caching plugins are best to turn on only when you’ve finished building the site.

I went ahead and cleared all the caches. The icons were now displaying.
Please check your site again.

thanks for your advice. I understand what you said about switch off cache plugin when making website. But I must say I cleare all cache during my previous work and It does not solved problem.

There is clearly still problem with embeding font awsome icons by code. When Font awsome codes looks like icons only in editation mode of page, but when I look at the page on frontend I still looks only like a peace of code. It doesnt looks like a cache prpblem to me - specially, when Im still clicking on “cleare cache” between steps. So - have you any idea, why ebmbeding icons by code to text element isnt working?

Hello @nezzazvoni,

When adding an icon shortcode, please remove the fas or fa.
Your shortcode should only be:
[x_icon type="clock"]

Please edit your icon shortcode and test your page again.
