No access to background color

Good morning.

Been trying to fix this issue for weeks…and thought maybe someone in here can point me in the right direction.

If you look at my main page (link below)…there are two shades of white, between the header and the footer. I am trying to find the area that allowed me to adjust the lower (closer to the footer) shade of white to match the upper shade of white. I have the colour codes…just cannot find where to change the lower shade of colour.

Any help/guidance much appreciated.

Hello @capebretoneer,

Thanks for writing to us.

You can use this custom CSS code under X/Pro —>Theme Option ---->CSS

footer.x-colophon.top {
background: #ffffff;
}

Please feel free to change the color code as per your design.
The purpose of providing the custom CSS to show you how to add CSS code to your site. Writing custom CSS is outside the scope of our theme support. If you need more customization, you need to learn CSS and learn how to use the browser’s element inspector.

Hope it helps.
Thanks

Thank you. This absolutely worked.

Also…thank you for the coding. I have no coding experience but I am always willing to learn.

Will source out a online tutorial…to help me become more independent. I just thought it was ok to post a question, if you got stuck on something.

All good. Thanks again.
Dave
