Ninja Form obscured by white box in foreground of Content Area modal

Hey there!

I’ve searched the archives but can’t find any mention of my issue.

I’m using the Integrity Light Pro theme as the foundation for my site. When I use the short code for a ninja form in a content area modal it appears with a white box in the foreground, with my form visible - but not accessible in the transparent background of the modal.

Shortcode works fine when positioned in a content or text area element, just not in the content area modal.

Here’s a sample page: http://akandalabs.com/dot/. The form is embedded in the CAM Toggle “Request more info!” under Employers. I’ve placed the same short code in the content area section right below to demonstrate that it works - albeit funky-looking without formatting.

I’m using the elements without CSS or scripts. I’ve viewed in Safari, Chrome and Firefox with same result. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi YJ,

On my localhost, I managed to get one of the Ninja Forms working fine in Content Area Modal, so please provide us with WordPress Dashboard login details in a “Secure Note” so we can investigate this issue.

Thanks.

Secure note added!

Hi,

We need your wordpress ADMIN login to be able to check on this.

For the mean time please update your theme to latest version.

Pro 2.0.4

Thanks

Thanks, have updated access from editor to Admin. Just completing a backup, and will update my theme.

Hi YJ,

Please keep us updated after the theme update process is done.

Thanks.

Having a little trouble with the update; shows installed version is 2.01, and latest version is 2.04, but when I check for updates to apply says my theme is up to date. Updating NF now to see if it fixes issue …stay tuned,

Hey There,

To force the update, please go to Dashboard > Updates.

Hope this helps. Please let us know how it goes.

Yep, that’s exactly where I’m going; It shows no theme updates available. The only update pending is for a CRM plug in I used which crashed my site following an update. I’d be happy to send you a SS, or you’re welcome to take a look, a second set of eyes is always appreciated.

Hi there,

Let’s do this first, please login to your FTP or hosting’s file manager then change your theme name from pro-2 to pro, should be under /wp-content/themes/ folder.

Then update your theme and test your ninja form on that latest version.

Thanks!

That totally makes sense, in the process of making the change, but working on updating DB to find/replace references to the -2 folder as my source, changing the folder name breaks the reference to the pages and content - thanks for your patience.

You’re most welcome! If you have hardcoded URLs pointing to folders in your child theme, then yes, you’ll have to do that as well (updating database). Thanks!

OK! Site updated, and reported problem with Ninja forms solved! I really appreciate you pointing out the incremented instance of the Pro theme in my /wp-content/themes/ folder. That’s exactly why my theme wouldn’t update, and why I may have had issues with other plugins! All good now!

Hey There,

It’s good to know that everything is all good now.

Best Regards.
