Ninja Contact form - Widget area

Hello There,

Ninja Contact Form;
I have tried several times now to add a contact ninja form to my home page with no luck.

Every time I add it to “add contact form here,” I save it and go to the page it shows is there no problem, but after working and refreshing while working in other areas of the page, it deletes it and Im back to zero, any idea why is this happening?

Widget Area;
I want to add a widget area to the footer, and it looks like I’ve done so, when I go to the widget section on my dashboard, seem likes I have to add it successfully, same when I checked the customizer, but when I check the actual page, there’s nothing there.

Please help.

Thank you!

Hi There,

Let us check for the following first:

  1. Ensure everything is up to date according to our version compatibility list at https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-version-compatibility/195. Please follow the best practices when updating your theme and plugins. See https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-updating-your-themes-and-plugins/62 for more details.

  2. Clear all caches including browser cache then deactivate your caching plugins and other optimization plugins. This step only apply if you have caching else forget this.

  3. If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services. This step too only apply if you have CDN else no need to worry about this.

  4. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

  5. Remove custom CSS, Javascript and templates.

After all this steps and the issue persists, would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? Please provide following information:

Set it as Secure Note

  • Link to your site
  • WordPress Admin username / password

Hi Lely,

Thank you for such of detailed email.

I have followed all those instruction, the issue persists.

I can’t add the ninja form as well as the Footer widget area isn’t showing.

The login information has been saved as a secure note.

Let me know if you need anything else.

Regards,

That given credentials doesn’t work. Would you also provide more information?

Are you opening different tabs when you said “after working and refreshing while working in other areas of the page”?

It would be best if you could give us a screen recording so we visually have an idea what the issue is.

Thanks.

Hello there,

Sorry, I did give you the wrong password, is corrected now.

Ninja Form:

No, I didn’t open multiples tab, just the preview tab that opens automatically when you do a change to see how it looks, after seeing it I would save it, and it would be there for a while, but after I keep working on other pages and/or other areas of the website, the form just disappear, like I never added it in the 1st place.

Right now is there, as you can see in the photo, but Im confident it would “delete itself” sometimes during the day, as it happens many times before.

Widget Area:

The widget is on the bottom show completely blank.

I want to add a widget area to the footer, and it looks like I’ve done so, when I go to the widget section on my dashboard, seem likes I have to add it successfully, same when I checked the customizer, but when I check the actual page, there’s nothing there.

Thank you in advance for our prompt response.

Regards,

Luz

Hey there,

The page doesn’t actually save so that might be the reason why it looks like it gets remove. There’s this error from Ninja Forms.

Try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

If that doesn’t help, please contact the plugin developer.

The footer’s content is actually there but Ethos’ footer font color is white and your background is white so it looks invisible. Ethos’ top footer background color is the same as the nav bar and the bottom bar is the same as the top bar. Though you could select white, Ethos’ design uses white font on dark background for the header and footer.

Thanks.

Thank you so much!

That did it.

Now, a follow-up regarding the same subject.

where do I change the colors for all of this links?

Please see referential picture attached.

Hi,

You can change the links color under X > Launch > Options > Typography > Site Links

Thanks

Hello Paul,

Thank you for your quick response.

Please note the areas I need to change the colors.

Where you sent me, I can ONLY change the Nav links color.

As you can see in my picture, I need to modify the color of:

  1. Title and text in the widget are, right now they are white, so they get lost with the white background; I do not want to change the color of the widget area, but the content (links, text, and everything else you see highlighted there)

  2. The Social Email icons, right now are in brown, and when I go over changes to the same colors of the background (mustard color)

  3. The “let’s get social” widget area also shows the social icons in White, only when I how over the highlights in Brown.

I hope I have made myself clear now.

I’m sorry for confusing you before.

Looking forward to your earliest reply.

Regards,

Hello There,

I am using Ethos #2, and I’ve been having all sort of issues with it.

Im sending a separate post, as you guys requested, so here is again one of the main problems I’ve been encountering with it.

I cannot add a contact form.

Ninja Contact Form;
I have tried several times now to add a contact ninja form to my homepage with no luck.

Every time I add it to “add contact form here,” I save it and go to the page it shows is there no problem, but after working and refreshing while working in other areas of the page, it deletes it and Im back to zero, any idea why is this happening?

I have been told to “deactivating all third-party plugins” which I’ve done, of course, when I do the problem is “solved” as it doesn’t show the form (which I desperately need) on my page.

Now, Im trying a different plugin, “Contact Form 7” Again, same exact issue, it looks like is all ready to go, but then after refreshing a couple of time is “gone” and im back to square one.

At this point, Im only waiting for this part to be fixed so I can launch my site, but all the possible “solutions” given, arent, in fact, a solution at all.

I would reallyyyy appreciate a helpful solution for this; I do need to have a contact form, so even if you recommend another kind that I can add, it would be great!

Thank you in advance for your kind help and prompt response.

Regards,

Regarding the colors, Ethos sidebar background uses the Background Options setup under Layout and Design. You can change Sidebar Title and Text color under the Ethos settings.

The footer text color is not changeable that is because:

The social icons are black on your end because you used custom CSS. If you go that route, you need to consult with a web developer to customize footer text color.

I see the contact form in your home page. Looks like it’s solved.
