New X Theme vs old X Theme

I have bought my theme in 2019 and most videos is from 2015 and is not at all the same. I can not see how to insert an image into a section back ground. I someone could maybe point me in a direction where I can get more updated tutorials.

Thanks Rad. I did come across the video tutorials and found that I had to set my preferences to include advance options.
