New Versions of X / Cornerstone and existing sites

Hi

My site is broken. It was working without problems with tabs opening and accordions working. With the recent changes neither now work - tabs only open in the first tab and not the second. The accordions are all open.

This isn’t satisfactory as it means I have to update pages that I was happy with. Also it means I need to check a finished site each time there is an upgrade - when I’m not checking for upgrades.

The only changes to my site are the addition of a few landing pages for downloading training material. Everything else should not be changing.

How can I ensure that my site moves with the updates so I don’t have to keep checking it. The site is http://www.marketing-intelligence.co.uk - and I now have a lot of work to ensure that the whole site is working again.

Is there anything I can do to freeze everything so it doesn’t change. And how can I correct the tabs / accordion areas quickly?

With thanks - as this is urgent for me as it looks very bad to have a live website where several bits are inaccessible!

Hello Arthur,

Thanks for posting in! I can see that you are now using Cornerstone 3.1.3. The problem is that you are using X theme 5.2.5 which is out of date and this theme does not work with the latest version of Cornerstone. Could you please update X theme to version 6.1.3?

This latest release contains fixes for several issues so be sure to check out the changelog (http://theme.co/changelog/).

After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches (if you are using WP Rocket, WP SuperCache or W3 Total Cache) when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

Wow - that was easy.

Thank you. I thought Id been keeping up-to-date as I thought updates other than plugins were set to be automatic.
