New Pro Update

Have Updated to the latest version of Pro, however none of the new elements seem to work on the live website and all the styles added seem to work in the preview in cornerstone. Thanks.

Thanks for asking and sorry for the trouble you are facing. Please note that you don’t need Cornerstone to run Pro. You can delete the plugin. Also to see the problem closely, can you please share website URL?

As you can see on this page there is no styling for the text, but in editor you can see the styling applied, thanks.

It seems as though my child theme needs updating or something to with the styles i’m not sure? Thanks

This might be indeed related to the child theme the first thing I would do is try to activate the parent theme and see if the stylesheet gets loaded properly. If yes then taking a look at the child theme example and comparing it to your version would be the next step.

I tried logging in using your FTP credentials but I get this response:

Response: 530 Login authentication failed
Error: Critical error: Could not connect to server

WordPress login works. I see that the text style isn’t applied. I tried other features like the Font Manager and it doesn’t work either. I couldn’t see what’s causing this though I see an error in the console that is related to TinyMCE. Could you try setting up another staging server with fresh WordPress install and install Pro only just to see if there’s something in your current setup causing this issue?

Why has the text font on the whole website now gone? Have you changed it?

The theme works perfectly fine on a new domain, and new set up of WordPress.

Thanks for updating in! We can now log in to the ftp. The new problem is that we cannot test the staging site because somehow it exceed the bandwidth:

Please contact your hosting provider and ask them to increase the bandwidth.

Is this on the same web host? This looks like a hosting issue though I haven’t figured out yet what is causing this because there is no error.

Can you try the following

  1. Re-install Pro theme and switch to the parent theme

  2. If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.

  3. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
