New Cornerstone page bypassing stack choice

Hi

I would like to build a new (home) page with Cornerstone on my site www.bali-villa.nl, built with the Ethos stack. But when choosing Cornerstone for editing this new page, the Ethos header et cetera immediately appear. Can I avoid using Ethos on this new page?

Hello Ton,

Thanks for writing in!

Please click on the Settings Icon in WordPress editor and under Page Attributes > Template select Blank - No Container | No Header, No Footer or a template as per your requirement.

Thanks.

Hi Prasant,

Thanks for your reply. I already used the page attributes the way you propose.
First I receive the message if I want to leave the page. And after retrying I received another message I will attach. Inactivating my caching plug didn’t work. Looking at my plug ins I cannot imagine which plug ins could give this problem. I send you the rather small list in another image.

Thanks
Ton

Here you are

Hey Ton,

I just tried to check the page in question and opened it in Cornerstone and I am getting no issue loading it:

Were you able to get it sorted? Kindly also try to clear your browser cache then try again.

Hope this helps.

Sorry for not replying immediately. I was traveling.
I made a stupid mistake by choosing Blank - No Container | No Header, Footer, instead of Blank - No Container | No Header, No Footer. :frowning:

My next question is: how can I make this new page my new home page?

Thanks

Hi Ton in 't Veld,

Please go to WP Admin > Settings > Reading then set the page as the static page.

Hope this helps.

Yeah! Thanks

You’re welcome, Ton.
