New cornerstone - NO inline style option anymore on elements?

Hi,
Fiddling around with the new cornerstone version… but I cannot see the “style” section at the bottom of each element as before… did you guys REMOVE it??

Here’s a dilemma I am now facing… I have a full width section… inside I have a text element that I want to have a max-width of 700px and it needs to be centered on the page… however the text needs to be left aligned…

This was so easy earlier with a single line of inline styling… but how to do it now?

Or am I missing the option in the new bloated version??

Hi,

It is still available for classic elements.

For new elements, you can add max-width and left align your text.

Then to center it in your section, set margin left and right to auto.

You’re right, no inline style option since you already have all the necessary controls there.

That’s sad… you should have at least kept the option open for people who might need some extra tweaks… is the option that code ‘heavy’?

Hi,

No, we have optimized it as much as we can.

You still have an option to use classic elements only. Classic Elements will still work and will always be supported.

If you only want to use Classic or V2 Elements go to the Settings page of Cornerstone (X) or the Content Builder (Pro).
