New copy of X, Cornerstone won't validate

Hi. I had to buy a new copy of X because my original developer disappeared and I did not have the validation code. I bought a new coffee, validated OK, validated cornerstone OK

I then created a staging site. On the stage inside, cornerstone requires validation again. When I did so, it said I had to login to my account, which I did it asked if I want to add the validation code to my account as I needed a new one. When I entered the code it took me to a page that said “not found.”

I am confused.

Please advise.

Hey Hayley,

In your themeco account, please add your staging link in the add staging button to validate your staging area. Once you are able to add the link of your staging area, you can validate it again. Please refer to the image below.

Thanks. I did, it said it updated staging. But it still goes to a “Page Not Found”

I have checked your Themeco account and your license code. It is assigned to the live site and to the staging site.

The issue is that in your staging site, you only enabled the Cornerstone plugin. You need to activate the X theme installed in your staging site because you cannot use the X theme license code to validate the Cornerstone if you are using it as a standalone plugin.
