It is always easier and more productive to have a starting point - something to build upon or to at least see some interesting creative ideas and learn the settings on how you have created the asset.
Also web design standards are constantly evolving.
That is why having a Design Cloud is a great idea. From what I can see your assets are great but mostly older ones.
My advice is to add new assets on regular bases, maybe a few per month. They can be added by your team or by your customers - I am pretty sure there are designers who are willing to share some of their interesting ideas.
