Needing to Scroll Twice

I need to scroll twice down in order to go down the page when I enter my homepage: https://rossettibev.wpengine.com/

I’m pretty sure this has to do with an element being wider than it’s the container, but even when I hide all the sections on the page and the header and footer, it still does it so I’m at a bit of a loss as to what it could be.

BTW the PRO footer height is set to auto.

Hello @santosfel5,

Thanks for writing in! Have you install any scroll plugin in your site? It seems that a 3rd party plugin is causing this. Please check out this troubleshooting article here and follow the instructions for the following sections (where appropriate):

  • Testing for Plugin Conflict
  • Disabling Cache
  • Disabling CDN

If after trying all of the above things you are still experiencing problems, please reply below, including login details to your site in a secure note, so that we can investigate further. You can add a secure note by clicking on the key icon underneath your post and then entering the details into the modal that appears. This way, the information will only be seen by you and us.

Regards.

Hi @ruenel I’ve gone ahead and tested for plugin conflicts, I’ve disabled the cache, and disable the CDN to no avail in fixing the scrolling issue. Deactivated my “The Grid” plugin did create another problem though. Now that I’ve reactivated it, it says “No content was found for the current ursername(s) and/or hashtag(s).” even though it was working before I deactivated it.

I’m sending you a secure note with the necessary login information.

Hi @santosfel5,

Seems that the issues with the Gap height value set in the Footer global blocks, Row element. It actually creates another scrollbar which, blocks the normal scroll behavior. Please reset the value to 0 to get rid of this issue.

Thanks

Great that worked! Now the feed is still not coming through for Instagram on The Grid though.

Hey @santosfel5,

I checked your grid setup and it seems like the username you provided for Instagram feed doesn’t exist, please add the correct username to have the Instagram feed.

Let us know how this goes!

That is the correct username. The account is rossetti_beverly
This is their Instagram https://www.instagram.com/rossetti_beverly/

I entered rossetti_beverly into the username field and it is saying the username does not exist when it does.

Hey @santosfel5,

I can confirm that there is an issue with TheGrid plugin. You may need to use Essential Grid plugin instead.

Kindly let us know how it goes.

@ruenel Okay I’ll give it a shot with the Essential Grid and see how it works.

Hi @santosfel5,

Please let me know how it works for you.

Thanks
