Currently running X Theme 5.2.5, X-Child Theme 1.0.0, Cornerstone 3.2.5 and need to upgrade to the latest versions. I can hit the update button in the back end admin area. Is there anything I need to know or do special before upgrading?
My other website is running X Theme 4.6.4, X Child 1.0.0, and Cornerstone 1.3.3
Both sites have been backed up. I can also upgrade both by hitting the update button. I just need to know if anything catastrophic is expected to happen before upgrading cause its been a while.

Since you are upgrading from an older version, it would be best to setup a staging site that is a duplicate of the current live site and do the upgrade from there so you will be sure that the live site is not disrupted in case there are some things that you’ll have to look into if there are any issues in upgrading.

If you are not sure how to set it up, you can get in touch with your hosting and have them set it up for you.
Ideally, there should be no problem when you do an update but since you are currently using an older version you might run into some issues that is why it is best to do it on a staging site.
