Need to stop post with certain category appearing in recent post widget

Using Ethos stack.

I have image posts in a certain category that I do not want appearing in the recent posts widget on the front page.
How can I achieve that?

Hi There,

Thanks for writing in! You can use the Recent Post short-code and specify your category-slugs separated by comma, so that it will only display those categories.

Example:
[x_recent_posts count="4" category="video,my-cat-2,my-cat-3"]
