Need to implement AMP

Hi.
What is the status of any kind of support for Amp ?
If not, is there a way to redirect traffic based on visitor, to serve an AMP page created by some other means?
that being said, being able to write AMP pages directly in some version of X would be a major incredible benefit.

Thank you for writing in, the AMP support has already been on our feature request list but we might not able to implement this soon. AMP support in general, there are many plugins already that allow you to setup AMP support on your website, here are a couple of those, one by Automattic:
