i found a post here where you advised to deactivate and delete from admin plugins = and then re install from themeco validation …
so i did exactly that = and purged cash =

so in my attemt to fix the issue myself I did the following.
with the server guys -
they updated my php to latest version.
they purged Nigix server as well
they did wp special mode where they can check and see for plugin conflits etc ( i forgot what the term is called ) - and there are no conflicts on my system.

then they suggested to try and see if S rev is working properly so i set up the slider on another page - and with 1 purge of my Cloudflare cashe - the slider WORKED perfectly - on my blog page.

So this is wierd because its confirming that there is nothing wrong with anything excet the home page

  • now im trying to see what can be done on the homepage -
but im just making things worse now beucse the page is coming out funny and not in the right place -please help

Hey @nailcrazy,

There’s currently an issue in the latest version of Slider Revolution. Since it’s a live site and we understand that you can’t afford to display a broken site, we recommend that you revert your site to a previous working state for now. Your web host will most probably be able to assists you with this.

Also, it is strongly recommended that you test updates in a staging server moreover that if we need to investigate, we can do so without making changes to your live site so we avoid the risk of breaking it. If you’re not aware yet, following is the link to an article where you could learn how to copy your live site to staging.

Thanks.

super thanks - that make total sense Christian :]
so glad you answered and i will try to get Srev in version that i had before :]]

thanks
Andrew

Glad that we could be of help Andrew.

Cheers!

Hey.

Not sure this will help. I also had issue with Slider Rev (v6.2.21) last week and I contacted their Support. I managed to roll it back to v6.2.17 and plug the issue till they reply.

This was one of the course of action they suggested. “Make sure that your theme and any other third party modules are up to date and compatible with WP v5.5. Otherwise you may try to use this plugin as a temporary workaround: https://wordpress.org/plugins/enable-jquery-migrate-helper/

Today, I took the plunge and update the slider cause I noticed it is now v6.2.22 and everything seems to work perfectly fine.

So yeh. Not sure if it is relevant.

Hi @timothyc,

We updated our Slider Revolution to 6.2.22 and it fixes various issues, I guess your problem was fixed by our updates in Revolution Slider 6.2.22.

Hope that helps.

Thank you.
