Need help removing unwanted opacity on Integrity Band theme

I have the Integrity Band theme installed. I have replaced the artwork on the front page. On Firefox it renders correctly but on Chrome there appears to be some opacity effect going on. I’ve muddled through with Inspector trying to find the culprit but cannot. It’s making the page look washed out and need a fix.

Hi @TragicWarrior,

Thanks for reaching out.

I assume you’re referring to the site assigned to your latest license, and it indeed has brand demo. But I’m not sure which opacity you’re referring as it appears the same on both my chrome and firefox.

Perhaps you’re referring to the pixelation of the image and it’s now blurry? It’s due to sizing of the image versus the container. Please try increasing your section’s height by adding top and bottom padding. That way, the background image will match the aspect ratio of the container.

Thanks!

No the artwork on Chrome has a slight white / lightening to it that does not appear on Firefox. It’s noticeable on the front page graphic.

Hey @TragicWarrior,

I am seeing this in my Chrome browser.

Can you please send us a screenshot and point us more about your issue?

Thank you in advance.

It magically fixed itself after we swapped out some different background images. I think there’s a real issue here, but for now it has become a non-issue.

We’re glad the issue is fixed now.

Cheers!
