Need help adding Pagination to custom layout for blog posts

Pagination seems to be extra tricky and I haven’t figured out the secret to getting it right every time. Can you please assist in getting pagination to work after 8 posts. I have posts set by default to 1000 so that my other Custom Post Types can have all of their entries displayed at once, but for blog posts I only want 8 at a time to show and then have pagination to go to next 8.

Also even though I’ve marked Header as sticky, it isn’t sticking.

Thanks for writing to us.

I checked your settings it seems that you are using the Looper provider on the archive layout. Please note you don’t need an extra loop on the archive layout since the default loop is working on the archive layout. I would suggest you, please go to the archive layout–> section —>customize —>set the Looper provider as OFF

I also notice that you have set the post count as 1000 from the Settings —>Reading—>Blog pages show at most

I would suggest you set the post count as a small number to check the pagination.
