Need bold text on sidebar widget

Hi, my site https://lajames.edu/beauty-programs/ has a right sidebar with widget “latest news” under that heading are blue links. I need them to be BOLD per customer request. I tried the CSS file and custom CSS… no luck, nothing works.

Thanks for writing in!

Please add following CSS under X > Theme Options > CSS:

.widget.widget_recent_entries li a {
    font-weight: bold;
}
