Navigation Menu Widget CSS

Hey guys, we are building a new sidebar to feature on some of our posts. We have used this plugin to create the new sidebar: https://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-sidebars/

When adding a Navigation Menu Widget the styling of the items is really different to the existing ones. Images below. Can you please advise on why this is happening and a fix? This happens both when we create a new widget or clone an old one and its placed in the newly created sidebar. We would like all to look like the old ones.

Thanks!

Hi Dariush,

Thanks for reaching out.
Seems this issue is not related to our product and it does not come under the support. I would suggest you contact the Plugin developer on this.

Thanks

Ok thanks for your reply.

Do the x theme widgets have a specific wrapper code i need to be aware of? Would be good if you can supply that info?

Before title
After title
Before widget
After widget.

Thanks

Hi Dariush,

I just check your website but I couldn’t replicate the new sidebar you are referring to, this is what I see on your single posts pages.

On the other hand, as my colleague said, you are using a 3rd party plugin which has its own styling and I guess that the reason why they have different styles. I suggest that you may seek 3rd party developers to help you with your problems or you can avail One where we can answer questions outside of the features of our theme.

Hope that helps and thank you for understanding.

Hi there, yes i understand very clearly, though you seem to have ignored my last request for the below details. This is theme related.

Can you please supply the sidebar before and after wrapper code for the below:

Before title
After title
Before widget
After widget

Kind Regards

Dariush

Hi Dariush,

I am not quite sure what exact wrapper code you need and it’s not feasible for us to provide a list of classes as they are numerous. I suggest that you will learn on how to do a inspect element, you may check it here. Once you are able to know on how to use the inspect element, you’ll be able to see all of the classes of any pages in the theme.

Hope that helps.

Thank you.

Its ok, i know how to do that. I’ll find it myself. Thanks for the swift replies.

The Salient team at ThemeNectar are much better at providing customisations than you guys. I know this is my first contact with you but its not bene great.

Thanks

Hi Dariush,

Regarding our policy. Custom coding is outside the scope of our support even from the beginning of support. You can see that in our Terms here https://theme.co/terms#support

Our mistake is we have not handled the user’s expectation like what you’re experiencing now. You want us to provide custom code specific to your site when that is outside the scope of support. We’re sorry if you’re expecting us to provide the service.

I hope you’ll be able to solve your issue and thank you for understanding,
