Navbar rending incorrectly in Safari

We are having trouble with a site not rendering correctly in Safari, which is what the client is using. Any advice on this?

Hi Kensie,

Please try to set your container’s Self Flex to standard.

Hope that helps

I tried this and it is still doing it.

Hello Kensie,

Thanks for updating in! I have checked your site in my Safari and this is what I got:

You might be having a caching issue. Since you have installed a caching plugin, FVM, please clear your plugin caches first. You also need to log in to your CloudFlare account and purge your site cache. Your browser cache must be cleared too or use Safari’s private browsing mode and then test your site again.

Please let us know how it goes.

Already tried clearing caches. Here is what I am seeing.

Hi Kensie,

Would you mind optimizing this image? make its file size smaller and re-upload it, you can use this tool here for optimizing an image. Because for some reason that image is blocked on your site that is why we only see white background on your navbar.

I believe, caching is also involved in this issue because if you access your site like this http://mapleoaksredangus.com/?nocache=1 you get the correct rendition of the site, no issue on the navbar even on IE.

Please clear all caching features do you have (plugin, server-side, CDN, and browser’s cache).

Thanks,

I have done all of the above and opened the nocache version of the site and I still see the following, as does the client:

Hi Kensie,

May I know what version of Safari you’re currently testing it with? It seems different on my Safari look. And please provide your admin login credentials in the secure note in case we need to check it directly.

Thanks!

I am using Version 12.1.1

Hi @kensiemalmfeldt,

I’ve changed the Self Flex > Preset option of container to Standard then the logo is displaying correctly on the safari:

Cheers!
