Navbar Background Color CSS not implemented

Hello, I’m trying to implement a background color to my navbar but the CSS gets ‘thrown out’ it seems.

See www.fretboardknowledge.com, the navbar to the left needs to be the color of the logo image.

The code I use is:
.x-navbar {background-color: #00659B !important;}

I’ve tried it in the Customizer (Custom section) and in the Child Theme’s style.css but the code seems to get overridden.

What to do?
