Hi!

Is there any way to reduce the space between the nav menu items (buttons)?

Hi Marshall,

Using Pro header, please inspect the element. Click TOP LINKS, under SETUP tab adjust the values on PADDING as needed:

But, I am using Original Headers and not Pro Headers.

In that case you can make the changes under Pro > Theme Options > Header > Links - Alignment > Navbar Top Link Spacing (PX).
