I am working on a site called trunktrainers.com, when you click on the search button on the menu it brings up the white page with the search box but if you double click in that page it redirects you to my companies website. Why does this happen?

It is because an <a> tag wasn’t properly closed.
Kindly remove the website link https://whattodomedia.com/ that you’ve added somewhere on your footer/above the search form.
