Nav bar height reduced now shows text which was behind the nav bar

i just reduced my nav bar height then when i click on each page it now shows the nae of the page. It seems the Nav bar was initially covering some text. For example now my home page says “home page” at the top.

Can i remove this or do i need to make my nav bar back to a larger size (which would look silly)
