Native Slider as Section Background

In Cornerstone, selecting “Advanced” background layers, you have the following options-

  • None
  • Color
  • Image
  • Element
  • Video
  • Custom

I have two questions. Firstly, is there not a way to add a Cornerstone Slider element in the background; a shortcode perhaps?

Secondly, what is the difference between Image and Element? I have tried both and cannot see any difference. Why would I use one over the other?

Regretfully there is no option to add the element on the background layers. Please have a look at given screenshot below.

Please note that the <IMG> and Element options are used to add the image on the background but it would add through the <IMG > tag.
