My website keeps getting an error in the X Theme code (3)

Hey, I posted this thread 2 weeks ago but the solution provided didn’t solve my problem

Again today the site has the error again but this time it’s a different part of the code.

I installed wordfence but it didn’t find any malicious software at all.

Here’s the error the time a month ago:

Here’s the error today:

Can you please help with this? It’s really frustrating. I don’t have auto-update set on.

Hello Samuel,

Thanks for writing in and apologies for the issues you are facing.

Can you please share the FTP and WordPress login details in secure note for us to take a closer look at the setup? We may any try to re-install the theme, so please give us the permission for the same.

Thanks.

Hello Samuel,

How did you re installed the Pro theme? Did you removed/deleted the pro folder first or you just have overwrite the files? Please login to your ftp and browse to the theme’s folder wp-content/themes/. You will have to create a new folder like new-pro and upload all the contents of Pro theme in this folder. After upload, you will have to rename the pro folder to pro-old and rename the new-prosimply asproso that the latest and fresh Pro theme will now be in use. You may deletepro-old` folder later on.

Please let us know how it goes.

Hey RueNel,

Yes that’s what I have been doing to temporarily fix the problem. I uploaded the pro zip file into the themes folder, changed the name of the old theme folder, then extracted the new pro zip file there into the themes folder.

Glad to hear it’s sorted, Samuel.

hey Jade, it’s not sorted sorry. This error keeps happening every 2 weeks or so. and every time I need to reinstall the theme but it’s not a good solution (I can’t keep having the site go down and have to reinstall every time)

Hello Samuel,

We have tested this in our testing servers trying to replicate your issue. We haven’t encounter any of those issues. This must be unique to your WP installation only. Would you mind setting up a staging site from another hosting or 3rd party staging site host so that we can compare. I am guessing the maybe your server is flagging the files or file corruption occurs once in a while in your server.

Please let us know how it goes.
