My Website is not saving with Cornerstone

Hello,

When I edit with Cornerstone, my website does not save. I’ve tried saving my page and I receive a notification that my page is saved but when I go to check- its not. It’s pretty frustrating because I loose hours of work, lol. I looked at similar topics and it seemed that users provided their FTP info and WP login info. So I’ll do that  I truly would appreciate any help in this matter. Thank you so much! ( I hid the details) I hope that works.

Sincerely,

Dan

Hi there,

I managed to access your website and add an Alert element to the about page. I used the Google Chrome Browser.

But there was a warning regarding a slow loading of the page which I think can be resolved by increasing your hosting service provider PHP Memory Limit. For more information:

Thank you.

Hello Christoper,

Thank you for your help. I’m happy it worked on that page, but I’m still experiencing saving issues on my end.

In the picture, I’ve seen this save bar for about 5 minutes so far. With no save.

I have PHP 5.6. is that not good?

I just tried doing everything in that WooComerce link, and nothing helped… in fact my site is down now… I changed everything back to normal but its still down. Now, I’m really confused.

Hi There,

I Can see you are adding a script, and that might be the reason, the script might be broken or uncompatible with Cornerstone.

Where is that script from, please provude the script and the specific page your facing the issue.

Thanks!

Hello,

I took the script off. The website is working. But, I’m still facing the saving issue.

Hi there,

There seems to be a problem increasing the PHP memory limit. Would you please kindly contact your hosting service provider and give them the link I provided and ask them to increase the PHP memory limit on their side?

Thank you.

I will contact them, but I tried doing this through FTP and I was not able increase the limits. I’ll follow up.

Please give us updates of the results.
Thank you.

They made the changes to the wp-config.php but I’m till facing the same problem.

Hi There,

The line that you put on wp-config.php did not take effect. Navigate under Dashboard > WP-ServerInfo there you’ll see that the PHP Memory Limit is still in 128MB, you need to contact your hosting on how you can increase this effectively, maybe bump it to 256MB. Also increase the PHP Max Script Execute Time to 300s.

Though I was able to edit and save your Home page and Review page, you need to increase the PHP Memory Limit as you have plenty of plugins running on your site that can dried up your resources.

Let us know how it goes,
Cheers!
